What is Body Bash Bootcamp?
Body Bash Bootcamp is a 4 week program offering 40 classes per month. Our outdoor, heart pounding workouts are designed to encourage personal improvement and goal achievement in a supportive, motivating group setting. Participants are challenged to compete only against themselves, but work with others for the very best results.
I'm just a beginner, can I keep up?
Absolutely! The workout is designed to be tough, but everyone participates at their own pace. However, you are encouraged to push yourself within the range of your individual fitness level. As you progress through each work out, you'll notice your strength, stamina and cardiovascular endurance will increase along with your confidence.
I'm really in shape. I lift weights and do cardio several times a week ... will someone at the highest level of fitness find the workout challenging?
Without question, even the most advanced fitness levels will find this total body workout challenging and worthwhile, producing results that their own training regimen cannot. With this workout, as in life, you get out of it what you put into it!
What kind of workout can I expect?
Our 60 minute Monday through Friday morning workouts include station training with kettle bells, jump ropes, resistance bands, boxing drills, medicine balls, hand weights, gassers, suicide drills, etc... Mondays and Thursdays focus on upper body work, Tuesdays and Wednesdays focus on butt and legs and Fridays are a total body cardio combination calorie eliminator!
Wednesday night and Saturday morning workouts are 75-90 minute, intense total body workouts. You can expect plenty of hopping, skipping, jumping, lunging, squatting, dipping, running stairs, station training, obstacle courses, drills and anything else we feel will get you results and keep you guessing ... no two workouts are alike!
What kind of results will I see?
Within the first month you will be:
getting stronger, healthier and more motivated
increasing your endurance, energy level and confidence
developing lean muscle
losing weight and inches and noticing how much better your clothes fit!
What do I need to get started?
First, select which payment plan you prefer; then print the waiver, sign it and bring it with you the first day of attendance. You'll need some comfortable workout clothes, good cross-training or running shoes, a water bottle you can run with and lots of enthusiasm! At various times you will be asked to bring light weight hand weights and/or resistance bands. But the most important (and sometimes the hardest) part is making the commitment and showing up! Why should I join?
If you're looking for a fun, energetic, challenging, outdoor workout ... this is for you! Who wants to spend all their time in the gym? Not us! We'd rather be outdoors challenging ourselves to be our best with a group of similarly motivated individuals. Utilizing a gym is an excellent workout, but bootcamp provides a way for you to achieve a higher level of overall fitness. I noticed you donate a portion of the proceeds to the Children's Cancer Center, what's that about?
Body Bash Bootcamp is proud to be the first bootcamp in Tampa Bay to donate a portion of our proceeds to charity. We feel it's a worthwhile cause and strive to give back to the community by helping put smiles on faces of young kids battling cancer.
What payment methods are available?
You can pay for classes with your debit/credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) through PayPal, personal checks (made out to Body Bash Bootcamp) and cash. If bringing cash, please bring exact amount as no change will be provided.
What days are classes provided?
Body Bash Bootcamp is offered 6 days a week:
Monday through Friday from 6-7am and Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 9:15-10:15am meeting at Ballast Point Park in South Tampa. Wednesday evenings from 6-7:15pm meeting on Harbour Island in South Tampa. Saturday mornings from 8-9:30am and meet at Harbour Island in South Tampa.
